The bulk bag containing the raw materials arrives from the support structure by means of a forklift and is ready to be easily hung. If the supporting structure provides for movement and hoisting of the bulk bags, this may also be achieved using an electric or pneumatic winch.

Height adjustment, necessary to adapt to the dimensions of the bulk bags, is possible thanks to the provision of telescopic uprights in the frame that serves as the Bulk Bag emptying machine’s supporting structure.

The plastic hopper underneath permits opening the bulk bag safely and transferring its contents without particulate, thanks to the lateral suction coupling and high quality sealing gasket on the bottom of the bulk bag.
The “patented” emptying hopper is inserted in a sturdy cage in the form of a reverse truncated pyramid with a bolted electro-mechanical vibrator with adjustable eccentric masses.
The cage, which is also a security element, is installed on a suitable vibration resistant rubber platform so the vibrations are transmitted only to the bulk bag and its contents, and not to the bulk bag emptier support structure
The plastic used for the molded hopper is FDA approved -10/2011- MOCA 1935/2004, antistatic and compliant with the ATEX directive 2014/34/UE.
Additional advantages are the low friction coefficient, easier pouring of the powders and excellent cleaning thanks to the rounded corners and corrosion resistance.
On request, versions can be supplied with the hopper in AISI 304 or 316 L stainless steel.
In the presence of hazardous products or very fine particulate, there is also the solution with a sealed mobile units that is driven vertically by two pneumatic actuators to compress the proboscis of the bulk bag at the bottom so as to make the emptying process completely hermetic.
If necessary, in case of compacted powders, the bulk bag emptiers are also equipped with pneumatic pistons that act directly on the Bulk Bag to ensure steady pouring of the powder and a production process free of costly interruptions.

Partial emptying of the Bulk Bag, where necessary, is made possible thanks to two additional pneumatic pistons operated by a secure bimanual control, which act on the discharge outlet of the Bulk Bag to close it.

If the Bulk Bag is closed on the bottom and does not have a discharge outlet (proboscis) the hopper can be fitted with a suitable cutting kit with lateral lift box designed to contain and trap the particulate generated during cutting of the bulk bag.

Bulk bag emptying hopper with cutting kit and box to trap the particulate generated during cutting with possibility to capture it on all four sides. Lateral pistons with direct action on bulk bag to elevate it laterally to facilitate emptying.

Pneumatic closure of bulk bags to permit partial emptying and replacement with a bulk bag of a different kind without having to wait for total emptying. Recommended solution for cases in which different kinds of powders are processed in the same bulk bag emptying structure.
